Kamel Y. "Ken" Yacoub

Ken Yacoub, 68, formerly of Allentown, passed away suddenly on Sep. 6 with his family by his side. He was married to his loving wife Diane for 47 years. Born in Syria, he was the son of the late Yousef and Wadiha. Ken retired from Lucent Technologies after 30 years of service. He was a member of the Orthodox Church and generously donated his time to those in need. He assisted in the training of service dogs for the non-profit organization “My Angel with Paws” after training his own dog.

 

 

 

Surviors: Wife; daughters Natalie and her husband Robert; Christina and her husband Thomas; son, Jason and his wife Jeni; grandchildren Nick, Alex, Chris, Sara, Casenia and Gregory; brothers Elias Jacob, Shaker, Aziz and Mannah Yacoub, many nephews, nieces, and cousins. Predeceased by sister Jamile, and brothers Ibraham and Rafat.

 

 

 

Services: Calling hours will be on Wed., Sept. 12th  from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.
