Juan E. Maldonado, 81, of Whitehall passed away June 5th at home with his family by his side. Born in Ecuador, he was a son of the late Vicente Maldonado and Trinidad Baldeon. He worked as an auto mechanic, operating his own shop in New York, Jemal Auto Repairs.
He is survived by his daughters Silvia Maldonado-Vargas of Whitehall and Adriana Maldonado-Ramirez in New York; sisters Marcia, Maya and Laura; grandchildren Jonathan & Michael Vargas and Katherine & Nicole Ramirez. He was predeceased by his wife Ana Maldonado in 2010.
Services: a memorial mass and interment will be held at a future date. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
