Charlotte H. (Lind) Daigle
02/02/2024

Charlotte H. (Lind) Daigle, 87, was called to serve in God's kingdom on February 2, 2024.

Charlotte was born and raised in Stockholm, Maine until she was 16. Her mother and she moved to Dorchester, Massachusetts to live with Charlotte's sister Edna. As she grew older, she had many jobs. One job was working for Damon Engineering working on electronics where she would eventually meet the love of her life Emil in 1967. They would marry on September 27, 1969 and settle in Millis, Massachusetts.

While apartment living was great with just the two of them, they both were looking to start a family, so they bought a house in Sharon Massachusetts. Soon after they were blessed with their first child, a son named Brett. Two years later, another son named Darrell. She was a stay-at-home mother for 7 years.

She would do all the cooking and baking for the family and made some divine dishes. One of her favorite things to do was watch cooking shows to come up with different ideas to feed her family.

Once retired, she and Emil moved to Bracey, Virginia in 2000 to avoid the New England winters. They enjoyed their time there until 2017 when they moved to Allentown, Pennsylvania. Later in 2018, she lost Emil, moved into an assisted living facility and became a social butterfly talking to whoever she found.

She was preceded in death by her husband Emil; her brothers Verner, Maynard, Elmer and Erland; her sisters Edna and Amelia; and many cousins. She leaves her two sons Brett and Darrell, 5 grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews.

Services are private, arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
