Christopher J. Kerkusz

Christopher Kerkusz, 39, of Emmaus, died Sep. 9 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.  He was the husband of Elizabeth (Buniak) Kerkusz, they were married 10 years last May.  

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Jerry and Michelle (Heckenberger) Kerkusz.  He was a civil engineer at Martin H. Schuler 
Company, Allentown.  
Christopher was a graduate of Central Catholic High School in 1992, then earned an engineering degree from Lehigh University. He was
a member of the Knights of Columbus, Allentown, and coached T-Ball, basketball and flag football. He loved the Denver Broncos.

Survivors: Wife; children Ethan and Samantha at home and an expectant baby; paternal grandmother Maria Kerkusz.
He was predeceased by his brother Michael and cousins Terry and Mark; grandparents Michael B. Kerkusz, Joan Young Heckenberger and John Heckenberger; along with his parents.

Services: viewing to be held Friday (tonight) from 6-8 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown.  Mass at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, St. Ann's Catholic Church, 415 S. 6th Street, Emmaus.
