Gladys K. Mongilutz

Gladys K. Mongilutz, 78, died March 21 at the home of her daughter, Jane in Saylorsburg. Born in Northampton, she was a daughter of the late Mark and Zenobia (Hall) Kuntz. She worked as a paraprofessional in the Allentown School District for over 30 years, retiring in 2009. Prior to that she worked at Bell Telephone. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Northampton. Gladys very much enjoyed reading, and loved animals, especially her grand-dog Lacey.

Survivors: her daughter Jane, wife of Nelson Lauver of Saylorsburg; brothers Arnold Kuntz of Northampton and Marvin Koontz of Fredericksburg, Va; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister Leonore Kuntz in 2010.

Services: no immediate services; a memorial service in her church will be announced at a later date. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
