Christopher Lee Hartman, age 70, of Palmerton and Lehighton lost his battle with cancer and heart disease on November 22, 2023. He was pre-deceased by his parents Herman Hartman Jr. and Diane (Heffelfinger). He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Dorthea Herring, and his children, Brian (Melissa), David (Jackie), Shanna (Nick Heist), Jesse and Sarah. He is also survived by his brother, Alan (Faye Faust) and nieces and nephews. Christopher graduated from Lehighton High School in 1971 and was employed by Butz and Palmerton Lumber for many years. He was known for his construction and master carpentry work. He was a member of the Slatington congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses. Services will be private.
