Kenneth A. Yacoub

Kenneth Yacoub, 60, of Myrtle Beach South Carolina (formerly of Catasauqua) passed away on Saturday, Jan. 25th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Cedar Crest. Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Aziz and Badria (Barber) Yacoub. He worked at Kellogg’s warehouse, Lehigh Valley Hospital landscaping, and was the owner of IKE Professional Lawn Care before moving to South Carolina. A very social and outgoing person, he enjoyed vacationing and pickleball. He was an avid outdoorsman who liked hunting and fishing. He served his country in the U.S. Army as a cavalry scout.

He is survived by his daughter Emily Yacoub of Deposit, NY (formerly of Catasauqua); brother Edward and his fiancée Kathy Kuehner of Northampton; sisters JoAnn Roscoe of Northampton and Annette Lisicky of Bethlehem; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Services: viewing on Friday, Jan. 31st starting at 10:30 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, Pa. 18102.  Funeral service starts at 12:30 p.m., followed by entombment at Cedar Hill Memorial Park. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.

In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St. George Church.
