Luz M. Martinez Peralta, 86, of New York passed away July 1st at St. Luke's Hospital, Allentown. Born in Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, she was a daughter of the late Pedro Basilio Martinez Peralta and Mercedes Martinez Peralta. She earned a master's degree in education and worked as a school teacher in New York City, and prior to that in Dominican Republic. 

She is survived by seven siblings, nieces, nephews and extended family and predeceased by two siblings.

Services: viewing Saturday, July 5th at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown beginning at 9:00 a.m. with prayer services at 12:00 noon. Burial following at Resurrection Cemetery, 547 N. Krocks Road, Wescosville Pa. 18106.

 

La señora Martinez Peralta, de 86 años de edad, de Nueva York, falleció el 1 de Julio en el Hospital St. Luke's en Allentown. Nacida en Puerto Plata, República Dominicana, era hija de los difuntos Pedro Basilio Martinez Peralta y Mercedes Martinez Peralta. Obtuvo una maestría en educación y trabajó como maestra en la ciudad de Nueva York, y anteriormente en la República Dominicana.

Le sobreviven siete hermanos, sobrinos y familiares extendidos, y fue precedida en la muerte por dos hermanos.

Servicios: Visita el sábado 5 de Julio en Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, comenzando a las 9:00 a.m. con servicios de oración a las 12:00 del mediodía. Entierro posterior en el Cementerio Resurrection, 547 N. Krocks Road, Wescosville, PA 18106.
