Nancy A. Sabol

Nancy A. Sabol, 81, passed away on September 20, 2025. She retired from the Quakertown Community School District after being a general math teacher for 30 years. For many years, she was an active member of  St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, where she sang in the choir, made pierogies and kiffles and served at the fish dinners and festivals. She enjoyed going to see Broadway shows with her daughter, eating mint chocolate chip ice cream and doing word search puzzles. She was grateful to be “Grandma Nancy” to Alexander and Christopher.

She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth A. Sabol, and former spouse, Joseph J. Sabol. She was predeceased by her parents, Michael F. and Mary (Kuzak) Zemanik, as well as former brother-in-law, Daniel J. Sabol.

Services: Visitation on Saturday, September 27, starting at 10 a.m. at St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, 980 Bridle Path Road, Bethlehem. Funeral service beginning at 11 a.m. with interment following at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy’s memory to The Orthodox Monastery of the Transfiguration, 321 Monastery Lane, Ellwood City, PA 16117 (https://www.orthodoxmonasteryellwoodcity.org).
