Thomas A. Rose, 87, of Allentown passed away November 21st at St. Luke’s Hospice House. Born in Brooklyn, NY he was a son of the late Irving Rose and Elsa Schnier. Tom loved painting and his 72 foster children he and his wife Ann cared for. He made a profession making business signs including gold leaf artwork. Prior to that he worked for NCR Corporation. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Tom lived in Allentown and loved the area. He loved music, restaurants and people!! He was a great friend to have.

He is survived by a step daughter Susan Mullen wife of Tom Mullen ; step son Tom Dreyer and Suzanne Comp and his step cousin Stacie McKeever. He was predeceased by a step son Jim Dreyer and his second wife of 47 years, Ann Rose. Also survived by step grandchildren James, John and Andrew Mullen, Sarah Dreyer Anderson and Michael Dreyer; eight step great-grandchildren. Tom had very good friends such as Nancy D’Annibale, Selina Blue and Annie Brown Simon and he cared for them deeply. 

Services: private interment at Grandview Cemetery, Allentown.
