Lucinda (Francisco) VanDine, 73, of Moore Township passed away January 1st at Holy Family Senior Living, Bethlehem. She was the wife of David R. VanDine, and daughter of the late Henry G. and Margaret (Johnson) Francisco.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, she grew up in Bloomsbury, New Jersey, attending Bloomsbury Elementary School and Phillipsburg High School; attended Cedar Crest College; graduated from the College of New Jersey, Trenton and later Lehigh Carbon Community College. She went on to work as an admissions counselor at Cedar Crest College; associate director of development at Moravian Academy; a paralegal; at Lehigh Valley Heritage Museum; and retired in 2018 from her most rewarding work as a certified occupational therapy assistant for Colonial I. U. 20. She was a member of the George Taylor Chapter of the D.A.R. She enjoyed cooking, reading, Maine vacations, and true to her love of nature and the environment, she was a member of Audubon’s Great Egret Society.
Services will be private. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
