Charles G. Grym
03/30/2026

Charles G. Grym, of Whitehall, Pennsylvania, age 40, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026 surrounded by loved ones. Born February 9, 1986 in Allentown, PA, Charlie lived a life full of love and laughter.

Charlie lit up every room he entered with his BIG personality. He had a deep love for the Dallas Cowboys and even more love for his family and friends, especially his daughter Kori. Charlie enjoyed cooking and preparing food for everyone!  He worked as a cook and pizza maker at Big Woody’s Sport Bar and Stahley’s Cellarette until his tragic accident that left him paralyzed on June 28th, 2014. Even with Charlie’s disability, he continued to try and make others smile with his corny jokes and one-liners.  He still lived his life to the fullest, attending parties and family events and hanging out at his favorite spot, Jordan Lanes. Charlie loved watching WWE and AEW wrestling, betting on sports, going to concerts and more recently, collecting Pokemon cards with his best friend Nolan. Charlie couldn’t have done any of this and lived life the way he has without the help of his parents, siblings and at home nurses, Maria, his everyday nurse and Jenn his night time nurse.

Charlie is survived by his mother Kathleen, his daughter Kori, siblings Doug (Tammy), Kathleen (Cliff), Sarah (Gina), Alisia (Dan) and Alan (Nichole). Nieces and Nephews, Courtney, Ashley, Brittany, Jarrid, Cassie, Kailyn, Gabriella, Madison, Jaclyn, Gavin, Kylie, Aubrey, Anthony, Juliet, Angela and his God daughter Aryanna. His great niece Isla and great nephew Rowan.

Charlie was preceded in death by his father Doug and his brother Floyd.

With respect to Charlie’s wishes, the family would like to mourn with a private celebration of life.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Charlie’s memory can be made to Walking with Anthony Foundation.
