“In loving memory of Carmen Maria Vargas Nieves who was born on April 10 1948, and peacefully left us behind on April 03 2026 to meet the lord with open arms at his pearly gate. Undoubtedly she was ushered inside with a beautiful procession fit for queens and kings, being gifted her glimmering golden halo and majestic angelic wings!

On earth from the day she was saved till the day of her expiration, she wholeheartedly devoted her soul to serving the Lord with unwavering dedication. Everyday from the moment she opened up her precious eyes, she rode away on many buses to share the gospel of Jesus Christ’s grandest prize!

She was an exemplary thornless rose, praying for hours at a time for not only her family & friends but especially her foes. Those who were blessed to know her have fond memories of a gracious soul who dedicated her life to helping any person or animal in need, for she truly understood that all God’s children and creatures have the same blood to bleed!

Although her life wasn’t at all sunshine and rainbows, she did live it the way that only she chose. Her final years were spent vehemently battling a debilitating disease that claims most in eight years, but she fought it for twenty-one years collecting unforgettable memories with her family as if they were souvenirs!

Carmen is survived by her six children, Zoraida, Vivían, Miriam, Victor, Deliariz, and Jose, and a massive collection of grand and great grandchildren that to list would literally take all day. May Carmen rest in peace amongst the clouds and angels up in Heaven, where henceforth she watches and guides her cherished family twenty-four seven!”
