Frieda M. Bertalan

Frieda M. Bertalan, 75, of Allentown, passed away at her home on Saturday, with her family by her side. She was the wife of Stephen Bertalan, they were married for 56 years last December. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Frieda Dominko. Frieda worked at PPL Company after graduating from Allen High School in 1958, and she enjoyed crafts, visiting casinos and Niagra Falls.

She is survived by her husband; daughter Darla Lakatosh of Walnutport; sons Stephen of Vera Cruz, Andrew of South Whitehall, John of Salisbury; sisters Barbara Frey and Helen Hite; a brother Andrew Dominko; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Jason in 2006.

Services are private; arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
