Florence Ruff

Florence F. Ruff, 78, of Whitehall, died June 19 at Cedarbrook.  She was the wife of the late Joseph F. Ruff.  Born in Egypt, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Samuel and Florence (Keiser) Hower.  She had worked at the Allison Clothing Factory of Allentown, and was well known as a waitress at the 7th Street Delicatessen.  She also worked at the Burlington Coat Factory.

Survivors:   Daughter Joan John, wife of Rizk John of Whitehall; son Christopher Ruff, husband of Andrea Ruff of Sierra Vista, AZ; Brother Lewis Hower of Springtown, Pa; granddaughters Sara John and Jennifer Rivera, wife of Jose Rivera; grandsons C.J. and Joshua Ruff; 3 great-grandchildren; nieces & nephews. Florence was predeceased by 8 brothers and two sisters.
