Beatrice Dorshimer

Beatrice Dorshimer, 83, of Lehighton passed away Mar. 19 at the home of her daughter Tammy. Born in Big Creek, she was a daughter of the late Robert Milton Frabel and Myrtle B. Christman Smale. She attended Pine Run School through 8th grade and then Lehighton High School. She worked as a sewing machine operator for over 50 years, retiring from Fernbrook No. 1 in 1995.
 
She is survived by her two daughters, Sandra D. Dorshimer and Tammy L. Rhodes and husband Harry; two sons Ronald Gene Dorshimer and Terry Dorshimer; sister Arlene Smith; brother Roy Frabel; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was predeceased by her husband Franklin H. Dorshimer Sr. and sons Franklin H. Dorshimer Jr. in 2009 and Timothy W. Dorshimer in 2013.
