Thomas J. Wichie

Thomas J. Wichie, 86, of Allentown passed away June 14 at Luther Crest, where he resided. Born in Freeland, Pa. he was a son of the late Joseph and Lucy Wichie. He was formerly an aircraft mechanic, car sales lot owner, handyman and contractor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force in Korea.
He is survived by his sons Robert, John, Allen, and Thomas Wichie Jr; daughters Catherine Beaman and Christine Talley; grandchildren Daniel, Angela, Todd, David, Steven & Evelyn and four great-grandchildren. 
He was predeceased by his wife Mary Mehring, they were happily married for 54 years before her passing in 2009.
Services: Private interment with celebration of life to follow Saturday, June 24. Check with the family for details about the celebration.
