Marcos Esquilin

Marcos Esquilin, 79, of Whitehall passed away February 28th at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. He was the husband of Maria Esther Esquilin, they were married 59 years last December. Born in Naguabo, Puerto Rico, he was a son of the late Gaspar Esquilin and Celestina Alicea. He worked as a machinist for many years. He loved gardening, playing guitar and following the Yankees and Giants sports teams and was also a Mason. Mr. Esquilin was a man of wisdom who was loved by his family and all those who knew him.

He is survived by his wife Maria; son Marcos Esquilin Jr. and his wife Myrine of Whitehall; daughter Evelyn Esquilin and husband Rufus of Allentown; brothers Beno, Julio and Angel; sisters Maria Rosa and Ana Arroyo; grandchildren Marcus A. Esquilin, Michael R. Esquilin; and his beloved grandpup Cooper. He was predeceased by his sister, Carmen.

Services: Viewing on Friday, March 11th from 6-8 p.m. at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Another viewing Saturday the 12th starting at 11:00 a.m., followed by funeral service at 12:00 noon with interment following at Greenwood Cemetery, Allentown.
