Najeer Tyrone Lane
08/31/2022

Najeer Tyrone Lane transitioned to be with God on August 31st, 2022. Najeer was the 2nd oldest born to Shalon Easterling on November 22nd 1999 in Allentown, Pennsylvania. Often the calmest in the room, Najeer was wise beyond his years and could often be found as the right hand to his big brother Parris throughout their youth. One might say you can’t think about Najeer without thinking about Parris and vice versa.

As the big brother to six younger siblings, Najeer was responsible and protective over his siblings, often being the voice of reason for everyone. In between being responsible, Najeer always wanted to make sure that his family was happy and enjoying themselves wherever they are. Dance, art, culture, and fashion filled Najeer’s thoughts in his private time as he expressed to family members that he wanted to leave the state of Pennsylvania soon and start positioning himself to create his own clothing line. Growing up Najeer and his brothers could often be spotted in their community or in a talent show. The boys were known for being silly and loving to dance and while he was often the most mellow of the bunch, he loved to have a good time. Najeer graduated class of 2018 from Dieruff High School and was well known in school as respectful and kind.

Najeer Lane was preceded in death by his older brother Parris Jerome Lane in 2017 and is survived by his Mother and Stepfather, Shalon and Chris Buskirk, Grandmother Helen Easterling, brothers Dionne, Jaednn, Javonn and Tristan, sisters Zulami, Seinna and Nika in addition to a host of aunts, uncles and family friends.

The family of Shalon and Chris Buskirk is deeply devastated by this unfathomable loss and overwhelmed by the outpouring of support from their community near and far.
