Matthew L. Hummel

Matthew L. Hummel, age 30, passed away November 2nd. Born in East Stroudsburg, he was a son of Vicki Sames and the late Norman L. Hummel. Most recently he worked as an arborist, he loved tree climbing as well as motocross, snowboarding, jet skiing or anything adrenaline pumping. He was an ardent animal lover. He was a former member of Western Salisbury Fire Company. 

Matthew is survived by his mother Vicki and husband Bill Sames; brothers Norman Hummel, Robert Hummel, and Troy Phillips; sisters Shari Hopkins and Linda Lilly along with extended family. He was predeceased by grandparents Marie & Albert Hummel and Helen & Edward Carpenter.

Services: viewing Saturday November 5th starting at 12:00 noon at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Prayer service beginning at 2:00 with Rev. Rodney Wells officiating. 

*NOTE:  Parking is available in the lot directly across Hamilton Street, as well as the funeral home's lot.
