Charles W. Lowery, Sr.

Charles W. Lowery, Sr., 90, of Springfield, Massachusetts, passed away April 30 in Allentown, PA at the home of his daughter Joyce Thompson after a long illness.  Born in Dawson, GA to Simmie and Eugenia Lowery, he was the husband of Mabel (Richardson) Lowery who passed away in 1995.  

Survivors:  his children Peggy Walters, Charles Lowery, Jr., Joyce Thompson, Gloria Owens, Wayne Lowery, Anthony Lowery, and Joanne Fisher; 24 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson.  Also a special friend of many years, Alice Sanders and a host of other family and friends. 

Charles was a man who placed his trust and faith in God knowing that "I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever"  (Psalm 23)

Services will be held in Springfield, Mass.  Local services by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
