Joseph A. Hanna, age 61 passed away on September 7th at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital. He was the husband of Mirembe (Soares) Hanna. Born in Jamaica, West Indies, he was a son of Theresa Harris and the late Salim Hanna. Joseph worked as an auto mechanic and glazier for many years.
He is survived by his wife Mirembe; mother Theresa; daughters Deana, Shelly, June, Crystal, Miesha and Asha; a son Aaron, his siblings Warda, Naife, Peter, June, Brian, Georgette and Cavelle; eight grandchildren and extended family.
Services: viewing on Friday, Sep. 15th starting at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown with funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon. Interment following at Laurel Cemetery, Fullerton. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
