Daniel G. Solomon, 80, of Allentown, died Saturday May 4 at his home.  He was the husband of Francesca M. (Carlino) Solomon.  They were married 39 years last July.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late Samuel and Rose Marie Solomon.  He worked for many years at Polar Plastics, Allentown, and retired from Wright's Fabrics after 13 years in the dye house.  He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church, Allentown, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.  Mr. Solomon was an active member of the Fearless Fire Company, Allentown.

Survivors:  Wife Francesca; Brothers Louie, Richard and Kenny; sisters Gerry, Sylvia, and Margaret.  He was predeceased by a son Danny Solomon.
 
Services:  Mass at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 10, St. John the Baptist Slovak Church, 924 N. Front St., Allentown.  Calling hour from 10 to 11 in the church.  Interment at St Patrick's Cemetery, Norristown.   Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
