Margaret Ann Donahue

In loving memory of Margaret (Peggi) Ann Donahue who passed away on August 14, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. She was the devoted wife of Christopher Covaleski and loving mother of Jason Hoover. 

Peggi was a dedicated nurse who spent many years in the service of others. She loved to take trips to the beach and was an animal lover and advocate.

Peggi's journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience. Her unwavering spirit in the face of adversity was an inspiration to all who knew her.

She will be remembered for her kindness, compassion, and the positive impact she had on everyone fortunate enough to have known her.

Peggi was predeceased by her mother and father, Ethel and Jim Donahue, and two siblings, John Umstead and Kathy Samarco. She is survived by loving friends and family including her husband Chris, her son Jason (Jeanine), her brother Dennis Umstead (Stephanie), and various nieces and nephews.

May Peggi rest in eternal peace, free from pain, and may her memory continue to bring comfort to those who mourn her passing.

A memorial gathering to honor and celebrate Peggi’s life will be held on Saturday August 24, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 8011 Steinsburg Rd, Coopersburg, PA 18036.  The family asks that you bring pictures and memories to share.
