Marty passed away peacefully on April 17th at the age of 85.

Born in Allentown on May 15th, 1940 to Samuel “Skimp” Rapoport and Helen Ruttenberg Rapoport, he spent his professional career as a Certified Public Accountant.  

Throughout his busy and accomplished life he was devoted father, stepfather and grandfather, an SCCA amateur race car driver, first degree blackbelt, avid golfer, rollerskating enthusiast, and soccer coach.  

Marty was known to do anything for those in need, from free tax services to even offering rooms in his home.  He participated in many charities, especially those for animals.

Marty leaves behind his son Michael, grandson Sabian, sister Nancy, nieces Rachael and Sarah Theobald, stepsons Robby and Marty Martin, Marty’s wife Kim and children Amanda and Blake, and Nina Fegley, who was like a daughter. 

Services: 11:00 a.m. Friday, April 24th at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown. Calling hour from 10-11 a.m. in the funeral home.
