Vilma Abraham, 98, peacefully passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2026.
She was born on March 31, 1928 in Allentown to parents Sam (Saoud) Isaac and Norah (Audey) Isaac. Vilma lived nearly a century filled with love, resilience, kindness, and grace. She witnessed remarkable changes in the world and embraced each chapter of life with wisdom, strength, and an unwavering spirit.
Above all else, Vilma cherished her family. She was a devoted wife to her beloved late husband, Albert, with whom she shared 60 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her home was a place of warmth, laughter, and unconditional love, where family and friends always felt welcome.
Vilma was a life-long member of St. George Orthodox Church in Allentown where she volunteered with the Ladies Aide for many years. She had a generous heart and a gentle presence that touched everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She is survived by her son, Thomas and companion Carol Friendy; Granddaughters Ashley Abraham and Natalie Schuler, wife of Dustin; great-grandsons, Cole and Owen. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Alan; sister Isabel McNeill and brother Thomas Isaac.
Services: Viewing Thursday, July 9, from 9-11 a.m. at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, followed by funeral service at 11:00. Interment following at Arlington Cemetery, Whitehall. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, www.AllentownFunerals.com.
