Saba E. Allan
09/08/2026
Saba Allan, 72, of Whitehall passed away September 8th with his family by his side. He was the husband of Hanan (Atiyeh) Allan for 49 years. Born in Zweitineh, Syria, he was the son of the late Elias Allan and Wahiba Yacoub. He worked as a manager and chemist in the textile business for many years, and later for the Pennsylvania Lottery.
Saba will be remembered for his enthusiasm for life, family and friends. He had a generous spirit and a heart for helping others, never hesitating to drop whatever he was doing to lend a hand to anyone who needed him. He loved being outdoors in his gardens, searching the globe far and wide for fresh figs, and grilling in his backyard with friends and family. He was a huge Steelers fan, mainly as a reason to gather with family, including traveling every year to Pittsburgh for a game. He loved his role of Jido to his grandchildren most of all.
He is survived by his wife Hanan; his son Ronnie Allan and his wife Arianne of Wallingford; daughter Ronia Jarrah and husband Chad of Bethlehem; his brother George Allan; grandchildren Adeline, Elias, Edward, Jackson, Juliette and Calvin along with extended family. He was predeceased by his daughters Jennifer and Tanya Allan, brother Adnan, and sister-in-law Sabah.
