Patricia A. "Patty" Hertzog

Patricia A. “Patty” Hertzog, 71, of Hamburg, passed away on September 14, 2026, at Lehigh Valley Hospital – Cedar Crest. Born in Birdsboro, she was the daughter of the late Charles Roth and Betty Guldin. Patty worked for many years in housekeeping at Kutztown Manor. 

She was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend who treasured her family above all else. Her six grandchildren, Zackery Wenrich, Selina Weston, Bradley Hertzog, Layla Hertzog, James Damon, and Violet “Peanut” Hertzog, were the light of her eyes and brought her great joy. 

She is survived by her children, Melissa Allen (Elmer Wenrich), Stephanie Hertzog (Jared Richards), and Ryan Hertzog (Ashley Hertzog); sisters Mary, Betty, Linda, Barbara, Anna, and Connie; and brother Jesse “Butch.” She was preceded in death by her sisters Bertie and Shirley and brothers George and Frank. Patty also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will cherish the memories they shared with her. Patty will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew and loved her. Her love for her family and the memories she created with them will remain in their hearts forever. 

A viewing will be held Friday, September 18, 2026, beginning at 6:00 p.m., at Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, 1227 W. Hamilton St., Allentown, with a funeral service at 7:00 p.m.
