Salwa Hadeed

Salwa (Abboud) Hadeed, 76, of Whitehall, passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and loved ones on July 22, 2013.  She was the wife of the late Jamil S. Hadeed who had passed away on Jan. 24, 2012.  Born in Bterram El-Koura, Lebanon on March 7, 1937, she was a daughter of the late Georges and Jallileh (Salem) Abboud.  She was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Allentown.
Throughout her long fulfilling life, Salwa enjoyed being surrounded by her loving family and friends.  She will be cherished in the hearts of all her loved ones forever.

Survivors:  she will be lovingly remembered by her sons Joseph, husband of Souha, and Marvin, husband of Karla; daughter Diane, wife of Salloum Shahoud; and eleven grandchildren, all of Whitehall; loving brothers and sisters Salim Abboud and Wadad of Lebanon, Bassim of Whitehall and Afaf of California. She was predeceased by a brother Raja.

Services:  funeral at 11:30 a.m. Friday, July 26 at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown.  Calling hours from 9:30 to 11:30 Friday in the church.  Interment, Laurel Cemetery, Whitehall.  Arrangements are by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
