Ronald R. Erb

Ronald Erb, 74, of Emmaus, died Monday Aug. 12.  He was the husband of Jeanie Houser.  Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late George and Caroline (Bitting) Erb.  He was a graduate of Allentown High School, and served in the Air Force for 4 years.  Mr. Erb was retired from Iron Workers Local 36 in Whitehall, and most recently worked with the sheriff's office providing security at the Lehigh County Courthouse. 

He was a life member of the Hogan Social Club.  He was a golfer and also loved visiting the beach, especially Wildwood, New Jersey. 

Survivors:  wife; daughter Jane Wiley of Allentown; sister Marlene and husband Charles Souders; grandchildren Jordan and Michael; niece & nephew.
