Wadi Mamari

Wadi Mamari, 92, died Sep. 12 at his home.  Born in Syria, he was a son of the late Abraham and Jamila Mamari.  He worked on his farm for many years and depended on God and hard work to raise his family in faith along with his late wife, Hanne.

Survivors:  Son Abraham; daughters Linda, Badiaa, Salam, Lulu, Illham, Siham, Juliette and Samira; brothers Toufik and Jabra; sisters Takla and Basiema; 22 grandchildren.

Services:  viewing at 10:00 am Tuesday, St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown followed by funeral service at 11:00.  Interment at Laurel Cemetery.  Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.

Contributions:  to the church building fund.
