Pamela J. Gephart
06/12/2014

Pamela Jean Gephart, loving wife and mother, passed away at home on June 12, 2014 surrounded by family.  Pamela was born March 18, 1952 in Corning, NY to Paul Dickerman (deceased) and Bertha Dickerman.  Pamela received two associate degrees, one in business administration and one in dental assisting.  Pamela and her husband of 36 years, Larry Gephart, lived in Belgium for a brief period, an adventure that brought countless cherished memories, and a love for travel and wine. Pamela was an avid quilter and some of her happiest days were spent with friends at Budding Star Quilts in Lebanon, NJ, laughing in the back room and taking breaks for egg breakfast sandwiches at the deli. Loved ones will remember her by the beautiful quilts she made especially for them. Pamela loved spending time outside in the sunshine, tending to her garden filled with flowers – many purple, her favorite color.

She is survived by her husband Larry; mother Bertha; daughters Jacqueline Sun (Frank) and Jennifer Gephart (Denis); brothers Gary Dickerman (Cynthia), Wayne Dickerman (Margaret) and Steve Dickerman; brother-in-law Jeffrey Gephart (Suzanne); and many cousins, nieces and nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by her sister and best friend Sandra Kershner.

A private memorial for family will be held at a later date.  Arrangements were prepared by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Inc.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Liddy Shriver Sarcoma Initiative or Pennsylvania Medicine.
