Barbara June Bixler, 68, of Slatington, died Sep. 22 at Lehigh Center. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Nevada (Walbert) Holben.
Survivors: her daughter Brenda Rhodes of Slatington; brother Donald Holben of California; sister Jean of Washington state and grandchildren Jerome, Rhiannon and Brendan Rhodes.
Services: Visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m., followed by a memorial celebration at 2:30 at St. Paul's UCC Indianland, 787 Almond Rd., Walnutport, with Rev. Martin Nuscher officiating. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
Contributions: in lieu of flowers, donations to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
