Jamil Chteih, 88, of Whitehall, died Sep. 28 at Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Naife (Kassis) Chteih. Born in Amar, Syria, he was a son of the late Khalil and Rahme Chteih.
Survivors: wife; sons George and wife Rolo, Camille and wife Georgette; daughters Hiyam, Ghada, Shiham and husband Michal Mrich, and Vivian; seven grandchildren.
Services: viewing from 9 to 11 a.m. Thursday at St. George Orthodox Church, 1011 Catasauqua Ave., Allentown, followed by funeral service at 11:00. Arrangements by Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home, Allentown.
