Octavia L. Schmiedel

Octavia L. Schmiedel, 74, died Friday at Lehigh Valley Inpatient Hospice.  Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Victor and Anna (Blacker) Keinert.  She worked previously at Western Electric Company and Food Lane.  She was a member of Jerusalem Western Salisbury Church for many years.

Survivors:  Daughter Donna Stockman of Killington, VT; sons Russel W. Schmiedel, Jeffrey A. Schmiedel and fiancee Sami Saleet of Allentown; grandchildren Danielle, Maxwell and Zachary Stockman.

Services:  Graveside service 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sep. 13, Western Salisbury Church Cemetery, 3441 Devonshire Rd., Salisbury Twp., with Rev. Homer E. Royer, Jr. officiating.  The family is being served by the Nicos C. Elias Funeral Home of Allentown.
