Josephine Allen

Jo, formerly of Dallas, TX, peacefully passed away December 30, 2015, at Phoebe Home in Allentown. A graduate of CCHS and Butler University, she worked as a school librarian, then as a teacher of the gifted, and received the Excellence in Teaching award. Her friends and family will remember her as funny, gracious, and mischievous. We will miss the sparkle in her eye, the warmth in her heart, and the laughter on her lips.

Survivors: Jo is survived by ex-husband James, sister Mary, brother Mario, sons John and James, grandchildren Kira and Griffin, and nephews John, Giovanni, Guiseppe, and Michael.

Services: An informal memorial service will be held at 2:30pm on Friday, January 5, 2015, at Phoebe Home in Allentown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Jo's name to Phoebe Ministries.
